WIlmington Fire Department Mass Cuasualty Incident Drill

The Wilmington Volunteer Fire Department hosted a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) drill at the toll house on the Whiteface Mt. highway Saturday, April 13 2006. The scenario was a school bus and car accident involving 12 children and two adults with one entrapped in the vehicle. The drill was a test for the entire emergency response system including the Essex County Dispatch, Local Fire and EMS agencies, AMC Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, and the North Country Life Flight. Agencies participating in the drill included Wilmington Fire and Rescue, Lake Placid Ambulance, Lake Placid Fire, Ausable Forks Ambulance, Keen Fire Department Ambulance, NYS Forest Rangers, AMC Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, and the North Country Life Flight Helicopter.
